Troop 16 is a self-funded entity. We rely on the dues of our members, as well as several fundraisers we hold during the year. The parents of Troop 16 get together every summer for a fun auction where everything from hand-carved neckerchief slides to dinners and local products are auctioned to benefit the troop.

Our big fundraiser comes around every autumn. We bring in hundreds of pumpkins and sell them from the corner of 65th & Wornall. In addition to traditional jack o’lanterns, we bring in a dozen different varieties of unique and exotic pumpkins. In shapes other than round and colors well beyond orange, the Troop 16 pumpkin patch is truly a sight to see!

These fundraisers support our program year-round, as well as help pay for some of the cost of our summer camping. If you would like to support Troop 16, please consider us in October when our pumpkin patch is open or, if you would like to help out in another way, please contact us.
